The State has the second-longest coastline of 972 km (604 mi) among all the States in India.[3] The primary official language of Andhra Pradesh is Telugu and Urdu is the secondary official language in some places,[2] while other languages spoken in Andhra Pradesh are Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada. 10281 persons declare English as their first language in Andhra Pradesh according to the 2001 census.Andhra Pradesh is surrounded by Madhya Pradesh,Orrisa,The Bey of Bengal in the east,By Tamil nadu and Karnataka in the south,Maharashtra in the west.Kuchipudi is the famous classical dance of Andhra Pradesh.Telgu is widely spoken language in Andhra Pradesh.Many Hindu,Jain,Buddhist temples are situated there.Delta of Godavari river is famous for the occurrence of reptiles.Some famous beaches of Andhra Pradesh are Visakhapatnam Bheemunipatnam, Kakinada, Chirala, Kalingapatnam etc.Andhra Pradesh is very rich in wild_life and natural beauty.The Nallamai forest is considered as the Tiger reserve.There are many Islamic tombs and monuments.Andhra Pradesh is oftenly called the “Rice Bowl of India”. Andhra Pradesh is divided in three regions. The northern part is the Telangana region and the southern part is Rayalaseema. The northern and southern regions are separated by the Krishna River. The third region is Coastal Andhra.Andhra Pradesh has a varying season that depends on the region.Telgu is primary official language of Andhra Pradesh and Urdu is considered as the secondary language of the state.Tirumala Venkteshwarya Temple in the town of Tirumala in chittoor district is very important pilgrimage place for hidu religion.this temple is an good example of Dravidian Architecture under Tamil kings.
